I've finished the Pumpkin Gloss socks! I will be dropping them off to my friend this afternoon. They don't look too good on the sock blockers because I didn't actually wash them. Cindy is really going through a hard time and I don't want her to have to wait even one more day for her socks.

I just remembered that I promised myself the microwave popcorn popper from Sur La Table as an incentive to finish the socks. It turns out that Cindy's troubles worked much more effectively.

That pattern looks familiar--was it ever found?

Way to go Kelley! I just listened to the podcast episode last night (as I was knitting socks) where you told about UFO group. I decided to check it out today and see your progress. I may have to borrow the spread sheet idea to keep track of my UFO's as well!

Hopefully, she's having a wonderful time on vacation, though. Now she has a wonderful surprise waiting for her when she returns.

Would you believe that Cindy and the whole family is in Whistler, B.C. this week for spring break! I left the socks with the housesitter. Ok, Kelley, this is a cosmic lesson in patience. Embrace it.

I love how the pattern goes all the way up the cuff. Neat! And pumpkin is one of my favorites. --Peggy

Ok, remember that these were socks from my UFO list and they had been languishing in my closet for two years. I will try to figure out which pattern I used. I didn't need to know to finish because I had finished decreasing the gusset so I just had to figure out the texture stitches. So, it is cuff down. Regular heel of knit one/slip one and purl on the wrong side. The texture stitch is the k2/p2 with a twist in the k2 stitches every fourth round. I think that cover everything. Oh, I used Gloss sock yarn.
