Capra Timber Needed for Charity Project!

Knitters: Do you have some Capra Timber you don't need? Angelkarhu needs some to finish up the fingerless mitts she is working on for dialysis patients.

She says, "I am working on some mitts for charity and I ran out of yarn. I just need a little bit of Capra in the Timber colorway. I just need enough to do 5 rows on hand of mitt and 5 rows of thumb plus a cast off. If anyone has extra or partial balls I will pay you. --Angelkarhu"

I haven't needed that kind of help yet, but it's good to know! I think knitters in general are kind and generous!

There are a lot of generous kind knitters on Ravelry.  I've lost track of the number of times other knitters have sent me partial balls to finish a project I have started.

I wonder if it can be done the way they post the free patterns, which are usually pdfs, I think.

I'm so glad a raveler came through for you, Angel Bear.

Buffy, Peggy had to point it out to me, also. Go  to the blog and on the bottom left of the blog (not the bottom of the page) is the ❤Liked it! button.

The banner and the badge have been posted over in Ravelry. I'm still trying to figure out a way of how to post the gift tag over there. If anyone knows if or how it can be done, please let me know.

I joined the Rav group (I am on Ravelry much more than I should be!). I'm hoping I'll get a chance to knit some fingerless mitts for you, but I don't want to promise & not deliver. Good for you for doing this.

P.S. I don't see a heart. Am I looking in the wrong place? Staring right at it?

That's wonderful news! I'll go look to see if there's a way I can see to make it easier to invite people!

Timber update: some nice soul on ravelry is sending me her partial ball for free. Said it will go out in mail tomorrow. Now if i could just figure out how to invite all my ravelry friends at once to group id be really happy!

I din't know how FB groups work. I think the Ravelry group is more targeted. That should get you some action!
