Back on track

After a little soul searching I've managed to fall back in love with knitting the Simplicity Cardigan by Mary Annarella. I'm working with KP's Shadow Lace yarn in the Vineyard Heather colorway.

This project for me in one of those dive in projects. With this project; it's the first time I've really knit with lace weight yarn and worked a garment from the top down. Oh, and how could I forget...learning all of the different increase required for the pattern. With this one project I've managed to learn a lot of new skills and I'm only about halfway done with it.

Now that I've stopped multi-tasking so I can really focus on one project at a time; I'm starting to feel like I'm actually accomplishing some of my projects.

I just hope I can maintain this trend so I'll have more FO's to post!

Comment by EmilyVictoria on July 28, 2011 at 8:37pm: I'm in the same boat you are trying to do too many things at once I've been trying to force myself to just finish for the sake of finishing, that and I'd like to buy more yarn when I've gone through it all! Id love to see your work in progress too. I think it definitely helps to post stuff on here and you get encouragement from so many people which always makes me want to finish.
