Another UFO Bites the Dust (in a good way)

Finally finished with my second Positano Tote! I had terrible procrastinationitis about the lining, but finally just made myself do it this weekend. I brought it to work today, full of all my normal purse stuff plus my newest knitting project (photo below). I love that it stands up by itself and holds so much.

Pattern: Positano Tote from Interweave Knits, Winter 2008 issue
Yarn: Wool of the Andes in Avocado, double stranded
Needles: US7 and US9, 32" circulars so I could knit both the front and back at the same time

My newest project - in Gloss DK! (And, yeah, those are the new Zephyr Options needles too!) I already love knitting with this yarn - so silky and shiny. I'm really excited to see how it does in argyle stranded knitting.

Pattern: Nederland Vest from KnitScene, Fall 2008 issue
Yarn: Gloss DK (not up on our site yet, but here's the Ravelry info page)
Needles: US5 Zephyrs 24" circulars (not on our site yet either, but coming soon - I promise!)

Tina, for a second when I read your comment about when the needles will be available I thought you meant NEXT August- 2010! I had a small heart attack thinking about the wait!! These needles look beautiful (as do your projects) and I'm excited to see reviews from others once they are available.

The tote is georgeous--great job --now to find the old Interweave!! You must have used a hefty stabilizer or interfacing to get that much body in the knitting? Please--some secrets--thanks for the heads-up on the needles, they look great!!

Beautiful purse, I really like how it turned out. You said you lined it - did you use some fun fabric inside? :)

I made a major booboo by talking about these needles so early! They will be available in early August. Next week (not this week) on the podcast, Kelley and I talk in greater detail about the needles.

I must know when these needles are going to be available so I can be at the head of the line. They sound wonderful as all KnitPick needles are.
