Knitting Community

Well, another year an my knitting passions and my skills have grown!! I am trying more challenging projects each time. I am continually planning and imagining the next project. I have the most trouble with photos and posting them. I thought I was a techie of sorts... but it remains my biggest challenge.

My home group has not grown as fast as I thought it would. I am always adverising it and encouraging new knitters to come and start a new craft. I will not give up. I want to teach and maybe even someday have my own little knit shop! Oh, to dream... sigh...=-)

Where are you having trouble with posting photos? On your page or when you post a comment? On your page, there's a place to click "Add Photos" in the lower left-hand corner of your photo section. I like to reduce my photos to 500 or less using photoshop, so they load quickly, but I have only just started doing this. If you have the photo on your desktop, you can just follow the prompts. In a post, such as your blog, or when you make a comment, you just click on the little camera at the top of the box where you write your comment, and then follow the prompts. I'm not very good with the computer, so if I can do it, so can you. I have a local knitting group, too! It's lots of fun. I have no ambitions to have a knit shop, but I end up teaching a lot of knitting. Whenever someone runs into trouble, they come to me. I like it when they leave happy and confident! --P

Happy Birthday! I am about a 3-4 year knitter... and I love it! I am doing some projects that are a bit more difficult, but my tendency is to stay within a comfort range. I have taught one person to knit... and tried to encourage several others... I would LOVE to have my own knitting shop... yes, Oh to dream... sigh! --S
