I was watching Kerin's video lace class and she suggests casting on with a double strand. is there one way to use two strands  that's easier than another? The project I want to work on has over 200 sts. I was thinking  of taking a length , folding it  in half and starting from the fold. The only thing is judging the amount to  do that many sts.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks..

Hi Liz! I would also try adding your question to the "Fairy Godknitters" group under the knit-a-longs. There are lots of wonderful knitters who are always more than happy to help other knitters, and they always have great ideas and tips!
