Knitting Community

I'm teaching a toe-up, two at a time magic loop sock class, so I've been playing with a new (to me, anyway) heel, which I am loving! When you knit socks toe-up, the traditional heel flap ends up underneath your heel - the part you walk on. But, I like having that slip stitch cushiony-ness on the back of my heel too, so this time I carried the slip stitches through the short rows and up the back of my heel a bit.

I love that I can try on toe-up socks to see how they are progressing.

Hi! I am beginner, and would love to start the Magic Loop class! I am in the process of ordering the book and the circular needles. Any suggestions as to what size I should get...a No 3 possibly, length 47"? Hope to hear from you. J

I also love knitting toe-up for this reason. Plus, then you can use up every last bit of yarn if you want to!
