Knitting Community

Guess I have been doing this blog thing all wrong! KP Admin said it is ok to post a tip. So here goes!
When knitting with the Shine Sport I had trouble making a neat felted join when starting a new skein. After some trial and error I discovered that using a TINY drop of Flexable Fabric Glue worked realy well instead of using saliva, normally used in joining threads. I know it works well and does not come "undone". All the garments I knitted with this yarn were for the grandkids and have gone through many, many laundry cycles since then. You can check the garments out on my pix. Leap Frog Cardigan for David, OrchidBolero Jacket for Abigail, Sky Blue Tunic, Turqoiuise Sun Dress and Butter Summer Dress and Apple Green Jacket for Katie. Enjoy and I hope this time I am doing it correct.

Great idea! Sure beats having all those ends to weave in. I like larger skeins/hanks of yarn just so I don't have to deal with loose ends. I hope Knit Picks comes up with economy sized balls of yarn soon for all of our larger projects. Thanks for your help.
