Blue Lake Knitting – Product Reviews
Since I became a Knit Picks customer and fan of the KP Knitting Community in 2008, I have really enjoyed the wonderful products, services and tools provided by KP.
Part 1: Pendleton Needle Cast.
When I purchased my first Knit Picks Options interchangeable needles, I was amazed at how easy and comfortable they were to use. No other knitting needle I’ve tried since has impressed me so very much. Then I purchased the entire Options set and the needle case that was included was also fantastic.
I used this case for several years, but gradually added to my needle collection by adding fixed circulars in many sized (especially for socks), dpns, and Harmony and Zephyr needle tips. As time went on, my needle case because more worn and as usual plastic dries and does not hold up well.
This year when I saw the Pendleton Needle Case on the KP site, I was fascinated! This looked like exactly what I needed for my interchangeable needles.
With enough room for 20 needle tip sets, and two zipper pockets for cables, cable ends, needle gauges, or whatever tool you want to carry. I highly recommend this wonder case to store and transport your knitting needles or other tools. It is light weight, compact and perfect for your needle sets.
Part 2: Clover Pattern Chart Marker Set
When I learned to use knitting charts, one of the first tools I purchased was the Knit Picks Knitting Chart Keeper. I loved its portability and ease of use. But it left a little something to be desired. At certain angles, it was hard to see which line I was on, and the thickness of the markers sometimes hid the very line I was working… sort of awkward.
I recently noticed the Clover Pattern Chart Marker Set – again I was fascinated by what I could use this item for in my knitting. I received my set this week and wow! What a difference it makes in working charts. This tool stays put ON the paper you are using and its wrap around design and single line view window, keeps you on the line you are working with NO problem at all. You could easily use this WITH the Chart Keeper, on a single piece of chart paper, or with a book.
Again, I highly recommend this tool if you love working with charts as I do.
Happy knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving all my knitting friends.
