I finally finished a sweater I've been working on forever, and inadvertently blocked the ribbing on the back piece (I was, stupidly, blocking while watching television). The piece now has no elasticity at the bottom, and I was wondering if there is a way to "unblock" the ribbing - maybe by wetting it & letting it dry naturally. The yarn is a silk/cashmere blend. Does anyone have any suggestions/experience with this?

Wet it again and gently pull the rib stitches vertically. Let dry

You have to reblock an item every time you wash it, so just wet it again and let it dry naturally.
