What’s On My Needles

Tina helped me rearrange the furniture in my living room so that I could have a cozy and inviting fiber corner to spin and knit in. And I'm taking my big green Socks for Soldiers socks with me to Boston this weekend - I hope to make a lot of progress on them!

To keep up with my knitting progress during the week, be sure to check out my personal blog.

Last week when you were talking about swatching on your podcast, I thought about leaving a comment about how I have started making preemie hats to find my gauge instead of a square swatch. I use 12" circulars to make the little hats because apparently your gauge is different on circulars than on straights. These preemie hats can then be donated to your local hospital or hat drive. Anyway, after hearing you suggest making hats for swatches in this week's podcast, I guess we have the same idea. :-)
