I always look forward to the beginning of the week because in the afternoons I knit while listening to new episodes of podcasts that went online over the weekend. I was really happy when I saw that Stephanie was on your podcast. I love listening to interviews with her and your's was great. I wonder if she reads for audio book versions of her books. I would like to get her new book, but I would love it even more if it came in an audio version so I could knit while I listen to her. I can't read and knit at the same time like some other people (Kelley?). Anyway, thanks to both of you.

I loved the interview, thank you! What really resonated for me was that knitting is not just a leisure activity. I always feel guilty when I start knitting and there's housework or laundry that needs to be done. But Stephanie was right, knitting is a creative way to produce a useful item, not just wasting time!

I must say... your interview with Stephanie is my fav. so far. I haven't listened to all your podcasts yet, but I'm sure this one will still remain my fav. I'm a big fan of Stephanie and her books.(which i have all) It's great to put a voice with the face. And, I must say, you have a wonderful speaking voice! Very pleasent to listen to. Keep up the great work w/ the podcasts!

Just loved this interview..Living in a rural , French-speaking community, I don't get to share my enjoyment of all that Stephanie (I feel that I know her!) does for the art of knitting. I had never heard her voice before and now I understand why she has so many speaking engagements. I could have listened to her for hours- the podcast just flew by! So much of what she said stuck to me- the bubble, "the solitary internal pursuit", etc. Your handling of the interview, Kelly, was great and the questions were, I believe, new and thought-provoking for her. KnitPicks gives us knitters great yarn and great fodder for thought- keep up the good work!

Hello, Kelly.
While listening to Stephanie's thoughts on "making a mistake" while knitting, I remembered a lesson from my knitting mentor. She told me that a mistake is like a personal signature. It is the true mark of a hand-knit item. Please know that I very much enjoyed the podcast. Thanks.
