Until we developed our
Harmony wood needles, I was frustrated with knitting lace. I struggled with the decreases and increases necessary to achieve lovely lace patterns. I always assumed that the problem was the knitter. But, after the first round of lace knitting with a set of Harmony needles, I realized the key to relaxed and enjoyable lace knitting lays in the tools you use. The sharp points make it easy to maneuver the stitches. The slightly tacky surface of the wood keeps the stitches from slipping away.
You can easily understand why I went crazy over the new colors in our
Alpaca Cloud lace yarns. With the right tools in my hands, I could let myself fall in love with Papaya, Dill and Cappuccino – perfect for my summer wardrobe. The heathered colors give the shawls depth without detracting from the design. The quality of Alpaca fiber means that even the most delicate of shawls will envelop me in soft, elegant warmth.
