Charts vs. written instructions – relax, one is not better than the other. The key is to understand the pros and cons of each method and then adapt instructions to your personal preference.

What’s On My Needles
To big events occurred to make my knitting world a very happy place. I finished off five socks that have been my super, secret work projects. You will have to wait to see them but I’m finally free to do personal knitting.
Our trip to Europe was fantastic! I spent my jet-lagged weekend knitting a Moderne Baby Blanket for my niece, Seana, who is expecting her baby boy in a couple more months. Perfect project for reading and knitting which was good because I had a very good mystery for a cold snowy day at home.
My other neglected personal project is my Aran Cardigan from January’s Knitter’s Almanac. Not good for a jet-lagged mind but definitely a good project for this upcoming weekend.
To keep up with my knitting progress during the week, be sure to check out my personal
blog.
