While Bob in I were visiting his mother in Philadelphia, my sister-in-laws and I explored Muriel’s recipe cards that she inherited from her mother. It got me thinking about handing down my favorite knitting patterns to future knitters in our family. I’m sure there will be knitters in the family. Otherwise I will come back and haunt everyone until someone gives in and takes up needles and yarn.

What’s On My Needles
What started out as a simple seasonal switch out of clothing in my closet expanded into a complete re-haul of my entire stash of yarns and spinning fibers!! It turned out that I had a lot of yarn that I would never use so it was a cathartic exercise to take the yarns to the office so other knitters could enjoy them. I assigned projects to the yarns I truly loved and kept at home. I also ordered a “bit” more yarn for projects I know I am going to be knitting over the next few months – baby blankets and lace shawls.
