Knitting Community

I just found out about this organization. They send warm clothing and blankets, made by charity knitters and crocheters to kids who really, REALLY need them.
And if you don't happen to live in Denver, if you send them a baby blanket you made, or something similar, they will send you yarn to make more for their project.
I just found them this weekend, and have a small baby blanket going to them tomorrow.
They have a real need for socks and baby blankets, and they provide them for kids in several parts of the world, including on a reservation up in the Dakotas.
They really do seem worth supporting. I have nothing to do with them, except for being one of their new knitters.
Just wanted to get the word out.

that's great, Nisha! We always participate in a toys for tots type program that our church does at Christmas, but I've never done any charity knitting before. Sounds like a great way to give back, and do it all year long!
