Knitting Community

Lately, I have been listening to books on my husband's iPod. What a great way to spend time!!! I find I enjoy the household chores much more while distracted by steamy romance or lively adventure. I also get the chores done quicker which leaves me more time to knit while listening to my book. Knit Picks podcasts are also a lot of fun to listen to. I asked my family for my own iPod for Mother's Day. I even looked up the dimensions for the new iPods and knitted a bag for it. I was checking out some of the knitting videos on youTube and discovered a way to cast onto 2 circular needles at once and knit in the round creating a bag with no seams whatsoever! What a great project! I learned something new, finished a project in a couple of hours, and used up the scraps of some beautiful Japanese yarn.
Tonight, my husband surprised me with my own iPod. He wanted his back.

Great for you. I love my Zune. I have 30 gigs of memory. I subscribe to several podcasts, and get several books also. Then there are my musics. What a great way to spend the time spinning or knitting. My favorite video podcast is Let'sKnit2gether.com. Very well done for a one a month cast. I also get to see what is going on on the east coast. Great fun!
