Great American Aran Afghan (or GAAAaaaaaaa)

I've been thinking about what yarn to use. Anybody out there use Bare Superwash or other KP Superwash wool? I am going to make a couple of squares for a throw pillow for my mom's b-day in March...then I'll see if I want to do the full blown project. A lot of people have used Cascade 220 Superwash. Just doesn't seem cost-effective for the SAHM that I am. I wonder if anybody would want to start a buddy group on KP Community for this. This would be a long-term project for me, maybe.

2009 Knitting Pattern-A-Day Calendar

Finished Christmas Knitting

Yay! I am happy to be done with my Christmas knitting. It wasn't a lot, but now I can get started on the cleaning, wrapping, and baking. I can't believe I only have 5 more days to prepare and I'm not even done shopping, I don't think. No pics until after Christmas in case my sisters are lurking on my blog. :)

A School of Fishy Tawashies

I have been busily knitting tawashies the past week for little gifts for my Bible study ladies and church friends. They take me about an hour a piece and I love that they are small, economical to make (old acrylic yarn stash,) and very practical. I hope they will remember the good times at FBC whenever they use…

I feel so guilty...

I joinded ravelry when I said I wouldn't do it. How am I ever going to get any housework done?
