I need to pick a pattern

I'm hoping to have a sweater knit out of our new Simply Cotton for my son by Earth Day! I can't make up my mind which pattern I want to use, or which color to knit it in. I'm leaning towards either Malted Milk or Ginger. (I accept stains as a part of childhood, so I'm not too concerned about a light color for a 1-year-old boys sweater.)… Continue

New look, a little late...

It's old news now, but a little while back we decided to freshen up the look of our knitting community. We wanted it to have more of a community feel, so they asked me to design a new banner and change the colors around. A new banner sounded exciting, so I quickly got to work googling images for inspiration. Thanks to flickr and ravelry there are tons of great knitting shots, but surprisingly the best image I found for my purposes was a stock photo!

Here I am!!

Hello everyone. I've been putting off blog posting for long enough. I had excuses before, but now I'm back at work and ready to go. 10 weeks ago (February 26th) I gave birth to my adorable son. I was on maternity leave until a few weeks ago. It's been tough being away from him al
