The Germaine Stitch Tomten is finished!!--another Happy Dance!!

No problems at all--except--garter st. was not a good choice for the trimmings on the combination lace and cable stitch by Barbara Walker. I realized that the lace would stretch and the cable would draw in, so thought that the garter st. would be forgiving--It took some steam to convince it not to wave--guess that a rib might be a better choice?? any thoughts on the subject. The dye goes on!!

I dyed 4 KP sockblanks with Jacquard--following their directions--worked great. The colorblock sweater I had in mind took 3 whole sock blanks--it's a very strong contrast--the question is to over dye or be happy!! It's your vote!!
