It works --there's no limit to the potential of the Tomten pattern by EZ!! Come on all of you lace and cable knitters out there!! I used Traditional Scandinavian Knitting by Sheila McGregor (Dover) for the patterns, played with them a bit, of course!! We visited a friend in Rockport (Tx), yesterday and drove along the beach--it was a georgeous day. The water was reflecting the intense blue of the sky and surprise--the Whooping Cranes had left the Aransas Refuge and were searching the marshy beaches for crabs--we saw almost a dozen of these georgeous birds. Lots of other sites, the egrets, gray herons, and a flamingo colored hornbill--I'm not sure of it's name--but it was a beautiful outing!!
