Yes, before coffee this AM, I pinned the newly completed Hemi to my bed--from head to foot, from box springs to box springs it laps over!! sprayed it good and turned on the ceiling fan. Hope that it, and the bed are dry before tonight!!
I'm sooo thrilled with my first piece of lace!!--Picture to follow!!

Yeah, Yeah--Kelly's super efficient crew got my 60" extensions here 2 days before I expected!! that speedy response to my dire need to finish my hemi prevented another project from starting on my knitting deprived hands!! Thanks to Kelly's crew!!

My experiment with neck down on EZ round yoke was a success!!--one Christmas present made!! Am started on all of those beautiful planned overs from the sip bag--the Palette FI Cardi is coming along--my goal is one pattern per day! Great fun!!

Finished up my Sip bag!! A huge learning curve with it's inside-out dps knitting with strands and the welts!!. Finished it with upholstery fabric lining, a zip pocket inside, zip on lining with commercial handle attached to lining, the additional knitted edge just back-stitched to the zipper on top. My first pair of socks, and latest sweater are also in the photo. The socks were a triumph as well--at least for me. I'm into EZ with all the books I've ordered from KP--I'm devouring her techniques-…

After some research into approaches, the bag is coming to life!! It's such a beautiful project and the yarns are fantastic!! The two major approaches are outside-in and inside out--I'm trying inside, starting with dps and going out with circular needles. It's the same approach a lace-making friend suggested--she makes the huge round knitted lace pieces. It's a new technique for me--and exciting!!

I just received your georgeous kit for the fair isle bag and the chart is printed as 1/4 of the design--Ive always used a full chart in the past--how do I translate it. Do I photocopy and paste it together?
