So, I was on the computer this weekend researching drum carders (just to drool and see the various types, makes, models, etc ) and came across a very interesting question on some other knitting/spinning forum. Someone asked if you can make roving out of hand carded rolags. Hmmmmm - good question! I love hand carding, but the rolags are very short and I really enjoy long rovings to spin.

How I do short row heels . . .
Hello there! I tried to take photos while I was completing the heel for one of my sock projects, but some of the photos came out not-so-good, so forgive the quality. But I think I got the essence of it across. I'm definitely a visual learner so there are a plethora of photos!
