SOPHIE IS HOME! SOPHIE IS HOME!

Our beautiful little Sophie came home on Sunday. I can't begin to describe how much joy and laughter she brought with her. I never knew that Labs have such a sense of humor!



Here are a couple of her new photos. The one in the top-right corner is Sophie after her first bath. During the bath she was very quiet and stood still. My knitted Christmas gifts...so far

My knitted Christmas gifts this year include two knit mini-purses which are felted.

I've got them finished except for attaching the straps, which are I-cord. Both the purses started out as slippers for myself, but half-way through I realized I really didn't want them as slippers. After flipping it around, thinking I had wasted all my time on the project, not to mention some very nice wool, the heel flap flopped over the toe portion and it hit me like a lightning bolt: Hey!
