Barbara's Blog - Mainly Berets

I actually found time at last to read everyone else's blog's and was inspired to turn Pickle Sue's 'Lille Rund Serviette' into a beret. It was fairly easy. Using DK thickness wool I just knit the doily pattern without crochet edging, and then knit 22 more rows in stocking stitch and then knit 2 together all along the row. This was 56 stitches, and I did an inch of K2 P2 rib and cast off very loosely by increasing into every stitch and then cast off and it was perfect.… Continue

Barbara's Blog - Busy Bobbins

At last! 'Do Blog' managed to find its way to top of my To Do List. From my bargain bags, I've been trying out blending my own wools. My favourite was this one that reminded me of Rhubarb & Custard.
