Quick Birthday Knit

What did I do before I became a knitter? Seriously. Here it was a few days before my co-workers birthday and I needed a gift. Now with all the cold and flu that hit my household the last couple of weeks. My knitting time was not as much I would have liked. So out to the stores I go. Hours I looked from store to store trying to find a present. The whole time thinking I bet she would really like some thicker socks. Nope I tell myself this person is going to think more socks? I just gave a her…

SCP Thank you so much!!!

September is a busy time of the month around here as it is for most people. Especially those with school age children. Time to get into the swing of back to school, fall sports, getting the home ready for the "S" word. For our family its even more busy because we celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary.

Well just recently little man had a homework assignment in math. He had to find things around the house that use math or where we have numbers. He then had to cut and…

Addicted to collages?

Boy once again its been awhile since I've posted anything other than adding pictures to my page. There just never seem to be enough time in the day. So here a series of collages of what I have been up to. I heard of this photo program Picasa during the beginning of the TDF and ever since I have been having a great time making digital collages. Let's start shall we? First there was the major spinning event of July on Ravelry. Le "Tour" De Fleece ( TdF). Boy was this fun even for a beginner… Continue

My two cents...

Pennies are a wonderful thing. If you save enough of them can you buy wonderful yarns, needles, and fiber ect.... Then there is the other usefulness of a penny. It gives you an idea of measurement when showing your spun yarn. I've read blogs post in the past were people have done this I thought it was a neat idea so here I give you the penny...

This my current sip (spin in progress, it don't know if its a term but I like the sound of it)

Some lovely Romney roving…
