High Fiber--Quilting and Spinning at Elevation

High Fiber, Happy Memories! The Sequel....

Now we find them, wedding photos finished and ready to entertain their guests...and party!

The dinner was wonderful. The food was great, and Miss Daphne made the rounds of her adoring fans, while her Daddy serenaded his new bride with his guitar.

Low Fiber

Just a quick blog this week! I'm in Temple, Texas, for the wedding of our daughter. On the way here, I finished my Koolaid socks, made from the KP sock blank I dyed using the sun tea method:

Wedding knits

Last night i didn't get as much knitting done as i'd hoped, we were too distracted discussing the wedding plans. We spent yesterdaylooking around at potential venues and found one that offers the chapel and reception with beautiful gardens all at the one place. So we are booking in for 3 July. This has provided me with new knitting project ideas. As it will be a winter wedding, and i will be wearing a sleeveless or strapless dress, I have already looked for patterns for a shrug and a lace… Continue

The wedding is over but my project are still going on. In the past weeks I've made gifts for guests, and even Erinn's veil. It was such a busy time. During all the rush I was able to make my swatch for the Cardigan KAL. I'm off to cast on sleeves this afternoon while recooperating and lounging in the easy chair. Here's my… Continue
