Susan the Blue Lake Knitter Bolero Nearly Finished

I started my granddaughter's Crayon/Shine bolero yesterday morning. I finished the back and most of the right front yesterday, And today with Peggy Stuart's help the left front. I just finished the first sleeve, and will complete the final sleeve, and do construction tomorrow. A three day sweater, never in my life. Retirement IS good, I love it. Continue

Susan the Blue Lake Knitter Retired ... BUT...

My last day of work was Friday. Made it through without tearing up at missing old friends, etc. But now I have a terrible cold, and feel awful. I haven't felt like doing anything. I knit a little last night trying to finish up an old project, so I could start a pair of socks, or short sweaters for my little ballerina granddaughers (I'm using Crayon in buttermilk, with Shine in Orchid for trim and accent).
