Knitting pattern for Men's cardigan with Shawl Collar, Where can I find this?

I have been looking everywhere online to find a knitting pattern for a really nice, button up, Cardigan sweater with a shawl collar for men to make for myself.  I want to find one that has a variety of stitch patterns and cabling, a lot like what you might find in Ireland.  I don't like pull over sweaters at all, as I tend to get too hot in them.  I want this sweater to act as a light jacket in place of a bulky over coat.  I am just about ready to pull my hair out trying to find such a…

I just joined the Mile High Club!!! Well, for knitters. I worked on this new scarf from a new pattern I created while flying to Chicago.

Are you a member of the Mile High Club (for knitters)? What have you worked on while in flight?

Please post photos here of your work.…

Springtime Scarf

Hello All,

This is the first knit pattern of my own devising, I call it Springtime Scarf... My wife Megan says it looks more like tire tracks. I guess in a way it does. Well, here's the pattern, give it a go and see what you think. Seeing as I'm kind of new at all of this I tried to keep it as simple as possible. I hope you like it.

Tom.

2010 Update & the Dr Who Scarf saga

Yeah. I know. It's JUNE already. :-)

So... what have I been doing... Mostly doing battle against my primary nemesis, Fibromyalgia. Guess which one of us has been winning? Also had a bout with some kidney stones a few months back. Went to the ER, certain it was appendicitis cuz I've had kidney stones before but it was never anything like that! Otherwise, mostly just annoying aches, pains, fatigue, perhaps a little depression... and lots of migraines.…

Scarves and head warmers for the Pine Ridge Elders

I will be sending out a small batch of scarves to a contact at the Pine Ridge Reservation for the Elders. This winter has been so cold. The elders have no heat and are needing blankets and winter wear to keep warm.

I found this crochet pattern for the face mask. Helmet Liner as it is called. Very easy to do.

Anyone want to test out a pattern I created?

I was "doodle knitting" a while back and made these fingerless mits. I liked how they turned out so I wrote up a pattern for it. Would anyone be interested in "testing" out my pattern? Also, I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn, could someone suggest a KP yarn to substitute for it?

I have the pattern here: Shozbot Patterns

Coasters (Crochet)

My boss at work is a Louisiana fan...purple and gold. :) I've whipped out these coasters:

Easiest Coasters Ever done in plain gold and purple. This is Rachel Choi's pattern found:

I also put together some of these Scrubbie Dots with the same acrylic yarn and made them into coasters.

KP Market Bag Pattern to the Rescue

For my birthday this year, my daughter and granddaughter decided to give me yarn. Of course, being "newbie" knitters, they went to a big-box store and bought what looked expensive (to them). It was Lyon Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton (my daughter is also very into organic anything). Unfortunately, I tend toward lace, fingering and sport weight yarns and projects. I just didn't know what to knit with it, and the quantity did not fit anything I came up with. That is, until I remembered my… Continue

Help - Shaun the sheep mobile

Does anyone know of where I can find a Shaun the Sheep mobile pattern? I have tried e-bay and no luck. My DD is having her first child and she loves sheep. I would love to make that for my first GC. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

P.S. I would even be happy to buy someone's used pattern if they don't need it anymore!

Stroll. Is it a yarn or a pattern?

I was searching for a new sock pattern when I came across Berroco knits page. They have a sock pattern called "Stroll"! Isn't that a funny coincidence?!!
