High Fiber—Ghost of Christmas (and Birthday) Presents!

I was too sick to enjoy my birthday, but I'm enjoying it now. This was my big present from DH, for a big birthday (hint: it has a "0" in it).

This loom was made about 40 years ago for my friend Joanie by Tools of the Trade, Fair Haven, VT. The craftsman who made it was Arthur Weitzenfeld. It's a 45", which means it can make a piece that's 45" wide.…

High Fiber—A Visit to Sharon's Attic Quilt Shop

This scrumptious array of fabrics is what greets you when you enter Sharon's Attic Quilt Shop in Hillsboro, Oregon. The shop was just a close walk from DS2’s and DDIL2's home in Beaverton.

High Fiber—More Oregon Visit

Flashback to July 6th:

New DDIL, Alexa, and I got to visit Crafts Americana's office in Vancouver. Crafts Americana is home to Knit Picks and Connecting Threads and host to the Knitting Community and Quilt With Us. In the photo above are (from left) Jenny, Kerin, Alisha, me, Alexa and Alison.
