Confession: I am a male knitter

Have you ever noticed there aren't many knitters (let alone male knitters) knit in public anymore?

Making Progress on my "Seaweed" Throw

I'm currently knitting the "Seaweed" Throw from Kristin Spurkland's The Knitting Man(ual). I put the word seaweed in quotes because it was given that title for the color she knit it in, but I'm using City Tweed Poseidon instead. So far, I LOVE it! Here are some pictures of what I've got so far!

Sometimes Life Just Gets in the Way

apologies for such a long time in between my blogs. First there was an appeal that interfered. Then in the middle of the appeal, my computer crashed. Then a complaint in Federal court had to be amended. Another matter had discovery due. Then the other attorney we are working with, offices from his home. His house and office were destroyed by fire. Lookin' easy but ... hmmm

My first rib warmer is constructed but needs to be washed and blocked. I like it but but it is bulkier than I thought it would be. When I saw the sample in the local store, it seemed more finished and something you could wear to work. And maybe it can be but mine looks more like something to wear around the house in winter.
