Is Cast-on-itis a Disease? If so, I have a bad case!

The last week has been very busy, what with welcoming my new grandson, Sam, into the world, and I had two days were I accomplished very little knitting. Finally on Thursday and Friday I got to knit a lot. My DH asked if I had gone through fiber withdrawal... I think that is exactly what happened to me.

A New Year of Knitting

Well, it is official, I have now been knitting for 4 years. It really doesn't seem like that long, but in this time I have learned a lot, and hope to learn more this year.

For 2009 I was able to complete 45 knitted projects, using 13,859 yards of yarn. And yes, I kept track.

What's Up with Susan

Last Tuesday I finished the Alpaca Hemlock Ring Blanket and posted pictures of it being blocked. Today the happy owner came after her blanket and brought her husband along. They were both very pleased with the blanket. Here is the final picture:
