Come see a fiber artist's studio...

A friend of my daughter is a fiber artist. She also became my knitting instructor after we met coincidentally while at the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival that was held in Rhinebeck, NY last October. After talking for awhile we agreed that she would teach me how to knit and spin in trade for specialty yarns she wanted to purchase at the fair. What a wonderful deal for both of us! Intoxication... at the Rhinebeck, NY Wool and Sheep Festival

Last year I went to the Rhinebeck, NY Wool and Sheep Festival as someone who likes farm animals. This year, I went as a knitter! AND...I felt intoxicated from the time I arrived at 8 AM until visitors were kicked out at 6 PM, when the festival closed for the day. Somehow, everything was different this year! I felt as though I couldn't get enough. Everywhere I looked there was something new to see and to learn.
