Sock Journey 8
Hey Sock knitters
Well, I am starting on my latest journey

basically working with partial eye sight.
So, I am going to take it slow
My journey is going to be a "Sprial Rib Sock" I got
this from the "Getting Started Knitting Socks by Ann Budd"
The yarn I am using is "Caron Simply Soft" the color is "Chocolate"
and the size circular…

Out of commission
Hey Sock knitters
I know that it has been a while since you heard from me

Night-Owl Knitters?
Curious. How many of you prefer or find yourselves knitting into the 'wee-hours' of the morning? I, myself, would call myself a 'night-owl'. These are the only hours I can find for myself when everything is tranquil and I can hear that 'still small voice' in my beating heart. Are there any 'kindred-knitting spirits' out there with whom I can connect? Please include what you like to knit at such times.

Suggestions, Please!
First of all, I have completed one gift on my list, A sweater and hat for my nephew.
On to new things and the reason for this post. My children have asked for sweaters this year. My daughter wants a simple tunic with a heart on the bodice. My son wants a red hooded sweater with a train track on it.
I have worked out the sweater syles and charted an intarsia train track pattern to go around the wrists and above the ribbing. The problem is I have no idea what yarn to use…
