I am a global citizen. Lived in so many states. Illinois,Wisconsin,Florida,Kentucky,Ohio and Indiana.I am comfortable living in the country or in the city. I need shopping area near by,museums, restaurants and attractions.
I love to garden. Hydrengaes, irisses, tulips, day lillies and lilly of the valley are my favorites. I started white lilac bush, some butter fly bush, light and dark purple clamatis plants.
Hi Tanya....so glad you had a good time. My oldest, Ashley, and I were at the KY Horse Park about 8 years ago. We were there in the spring for the Rolex 3 day eventing. It was really something. She says we went to the museum, but for some reason I don't remember. Ashley works with horses. Do you enjoy horses? Not sure if I told you about the afghan I was knitting, I finally got it done! It took me forever to knit....I think I will stick to crocheting afghans. :o)

the colder weather is good for knitting, but I sure miss the fall weather. I hate giving up my summer flipflops...I will wear them till the snow sticks to the ground. :o) Although, in our area there have been places that have had snow sticking to the ground...a few inches. Not good considering we still have leaves on the trees....a lot of downed limbs. Oh well...you stay warm. Happy Knitting.....Debbie
Debbie:
It is 20 degrees colder then usual. I am wearing winter coat. My scarf is 1/3 done. Large stiches go fast. I love the color. My son was 3 weeks ago climbing mountins in NH. Probably , now he will stay put. I think they had snow in Massachussets.

I don"t know what the weather is like your way, but here it is getting cold. I would like to know what happened to fall. My husband told me there was a light dusting of snow this morning....Brrrr. You're going to need your new scarf soon if not already. Happy Friday.....Debbie
wow, that is a busy week! You are really going to enjoy those 3 1/2 days off. The scarf you are knitting, is it to go with your coat? After knitting for 5 hours I have had to give my hands a rest. Today they feel better so I am going to try to knit some more on the afghan. I so want to get it finished! Happy knitting....Debbie
the yarn for your scarf sounds so yummy! We spent the day going to Pittsburgh and back. Two of our daughters live in and near Pittsburgh. So we all got together and had lunch. Lots of time spent in the truck! So I got about 5 hours of knitting in...I am really trying to finish an afghan. Where flowers are concerned you are a woman after my own heart! I love cosmos too! Do you have Monday off from school? If you do...enjoy! Happy Knitting.....Debbie
Hi Debbie:
Had a busy week, but weekend is comming. So, I am going to get my new yarn Saturday and start on my scarf. We are going to go out to eat to celebrate wedding aniversary. Our flower beds are OK. My hydreangea is still growing. Lilac -pink reblooming started blooming now. We planted few mimosa trees, hope they grow next year.
Next spring we hope to have tulips white and mixes pastels.
Flowers are so neat, but you need quite a few years to astablish garden. We had garden few years now. It takes at least 3-5 years for plants to get moving.
We had few sunflower plants 3 years in the row-.but not next year-I want to put bunch of purple cosmoses.
Well,I got to go . Happy knitting.
