About Me:

I live in Hawaii and I grew up here. I learned to knit (continental) from my grandmother and again (american) from my mother. I've been knitting - stashing for over 30+ years. Lately I've been knitting socks (and collecting sock yarn). I started a shawl for a friend in our red hat group last year but lost interest when she passed away suddenly. I really love lace but haven't done serious lace knitting only dabbled. My house is mostly filled with UFO's as I have little time to knit so end up forgetting the pattern or where I put stuff (LOL). BTW, I have 1 husband, 2 daughters (grown and living on the mainland), 3 cats.I teach HS Chemistry and Physics in my spare time.
