Hey, Irene, I just saw your comment on Janice's blog and thought I would stop by to say hello. Hope life is treating you well and that it's not too hot and dry up your way.

I've been taking a break from sock knitting for a while. But I'm 'playing' with something else. I will make some pictures soon.

Hey, Irene. It is nice to have the brief out of our way. We got it done just in time for No. 4 to bring the flu home with him. Wasn't that nice of him? We all ended up getting it. Of course, being 22 he sprang right back from it. I was in bed a week and am still trying to get my strength back. DH and MIL are a few days behind me with it. So they are still having some fever and headaches.

So glad you are enjoying your iPods and listening to audio books. I love them! Sorry to hear the muscles are preventing you from spinning right now. I haven't been spinning much myself. I started the Garter Leaves shawl a couple of days ago. It was the first time I'd felt like doing much of anything. I'm doing it in City Tweed HW in Snowshoe. I think it will be quite stunning. I still have 2 more hats for the boys for my Christmas IOU. It's already the end of February and I feel so far behind!

Take care and hope the muscular problem gives you a little respite so you can enjoy some knitting or spinning.

Hey, Irene! It's been filed and is at FedEx waiting to be picked up. It was supposed to go out tonight, but they picked up two hours early today because of the weather. I'm finding it hard getting back into the swing of things, but I'm sure it won't take too long.

I'm the little one. Everyone ask why I looked so mad, well it was probably because my mom made he hold hands with my sister.
