Love to knit, crochet and needlepoint, knitting is my first love, I am a mother, grandmother, Love to see what other people are knitting. It is inspiring to see what others are making. The quilts were shown by two local quilters. Loved both of them.

Irene,
So sorry I missed your message. I nearly killed myself helping to
organize our neighborhood assoc. potluck. Then all that time at
the affair and the after affair critique. I've been crawling around
ever since and in a lot of pain. I knew what I was getting into and
decided it was worth the price. I had a great time (I spend much
too much time alone) and we are working on a neighborhood
knitting group. I am depressed at the state of my home with the
holidays approaching. There is no way on earth I can get it back
to normal but I can make it a bit better.
The little cottontail bunnies live across the alley from me in a
cactus patch. This is one of the older ones. There are several
generations out there. What's really neat is that they don't seem
to be doing harm to any ornamental plants but are eating grass
and weeds. I just love them. I talk to them and they listen. Honey
really wants to to get to one of them but they're too fast even for
her. She's quite the little hunter. Did you know that poodles were
originally Russian hunting dogs?
I'm working on the Mystery Colrowork KAL - slowly, and the
Classic Cardi Kal. I'm afraid i'm going to have to frog the cardi
back to joining of the sleeves for the SECOND time. This is
getting BORING!! I keep screwing up the decreases. Whooppee!

I haven't been active in the knitting guild for the last couple of years. When my MIL came to live with us she was quite ill. There are 3 subchapters. One up Conroe way. One out by Katy and a daytime group as well as the main group. It's over 200 members.

Irene: I'm spinning away, and posting, of course! Thanks for your good wishes! --P
I don't carry much in the way of Patons, Bernat or Lion Brand, since they are readily available at the chain stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby and AC Moore. I do order them if my customers want them and don't want to make the trip to the big stores. I carry Universal, Plymouth, Classic Elite, Berocco, Brown Sheep, and others. I just ordered a bit of Louisa Harding as well. I'm also trying to get some Noro in, as a lot of customers have asked for it. I think the rep is coming this week, and if the initial order isn't too steep, I may get some. But then I have the problem of where to put it??!
Irene, I'm always here if you need me. And I reallty do keep my very special KP friends in my thought and prayers all the time. I know the ones with special needs, and know they need all the help they can get! Hugs from me to you. Susan
