Come on in and see what I've been up to!

Each day is an adventure in my life! Whether it's Bobby, Philip, classes, work, my parents, or freinds. You just never know what's going to happen from day to day! The sad thing is, I don't have time to blog about it each day! VERY HIT AND MISS!

I can see clearly now that Fall is near...

Yep, I've got leaves falling from the trees, but not because they are changing colors just yet. It's just been so dry lately. We did get a bit of rain last week, off and on almost all week, just enough to make the greass take off and green up and grow some more. I love Fall weather! I love the sounds of football in the air, the crispness of the air, the countdown to the holidays. OH! The holidays!

I'm working on a Wonderful Wallaby for my DS in KP WoTA in Cranberry. He loves red and he picked o… Continue

Summer's still on!

It's been a pretty uneventful Summer around my house. No college classes for me this Summer - decided I needed some time off from school work and I'm glad I did take the time. I've been doing some knitting, mostly dishcloths and such to give as gifts, but also worked on DH's afghan while on vacation.
We went to Minnesota earlier this month where we visted family for afew days ebfore heading back home to Oklahoma and stopping at yarn shops along the way! Such fun places! I don't have a nearby yar… Continue

It's a HOT Summer here!

When the thermometer in my car reads 78 at 7:30 AM, you know it is going to be a hot day! It's been that way for over a week and I don't see it letting up anytime soon!
You know what makes me mad? When I spend about 10 minutes typing a blog post on here and then I do something stupid like updating my commenting moderating settings WITHOUT saving my post first! Yeah, I had a few paragraphs here telling about a trip we took yesterday and all the fun t hings we did - only to lose it ALL! So here I… Continue

Hello Summer!

Summer is finally here and it's come in with a vengence! It's supposed to be 90 today! Whew! I'll be ready to hit the pool after work, that's for sure!
Classes have been out for almost a month now and guess what I've been doing? KNITTING! I've gotten so much knitting done, it's unbelieveable! I've made a few dishcloths, knit up some gloves, working on DH's blanket, and am really close to finishing up my Brighton bag! Well, at least the knitting portion anyway! I think I'll get the sewing portion… Continue

Spring is here and it's time for change!

It's been awhile since I last blogged and I feel bad about that... Well I would if I didn't have so much on my plate right now! My classes are killing me! These 8 week courses are literally 16 weeks worth of work jammed into 8 weeks. I have read and typed up so many reports that I'm getting confused about what I'm working on in what class! I have decided to take the summer off and get some knitting in before I hit he books again this fall. I had planned on taking 1 class this summer and then 2 o… Continue

Heehee. Thanks for the well wishes. My thrift store prices things so oddly. The strangest thing is that it's usually to my benefit! They will have $20 on some plastic thing that you can buy new for the same amount- and an old metal framed chair that would never fall apart -like from the 50's- you might pay $2 or less! And craft stuff- they price yarn and thread higher than it would be in the store sometimes- but the tools- they just have no idea. I'm not telling them!! -Peggy
