please help with thye Baby Surprise pattern
I am at the part of the pattern where it says pick up 10 sts from the side of the piece just knitted- I don't understand- can anyone help?

I taught a class several years ago on the adult surprise jacket, and people really enjoyed both making and wearing them. I have two, and they are real wardrobe favorites.
Once you get the feel for the maneuvers in these jackets, you'll find this design a great springboard for creativity.
