- I learned to knit years ago from my mom. She was a wonderful knitter, and I always wore hand knit sweaters. She has been gone for 12 years now and just picked it up again this year. I have a job I love, but it can be stressful and I have come to find knitting very relaxing and soothing.

For the first time in years I have a couple of friends that are having babies. Knitting baby stuff is so much fun and I had forgotten how you get such quick satisfaction as compared to adult stuff. I am just finishing my second Knitting Pure and Simple Baby Pullover. It's top down, so easy and so much fun. I have added color in stipes and embrodiered some fun flowers on the front. Hi there, It's been a while since I have written, Life gets busy and time flys by. I am working on socks for Christmas presents and have two lace shawls going. I am making one from the Folk Shawl book that I love and one from the Knitpicks website. They are great fun to make but I am needing a new challenge. THE YOUTUBE VIDEO PROOFThe foot is, well, steadily getting better, thanks. But we went to the Corn Maize in Fryeburg on Sunday and it's been acting up since then. Was worth it though, because the maze was tons of fun.
