Hi Maureen,
Had someone else's photos on my photos for my page. She had tried IT but ,not too much progress. I sent a letter and then I decide to go back and change the photos back to a slide show and there were my photos and she got hers back.
Just finished a KAL for kids. I've been trying to use up my stash of sock yarn and have been doing some lace in them. One is the Mock Croc Sock free on KP's. Almost done with the Summer Lovin' sock and then I'll cast on the Mock Sock.Happy Knitting, Robin

maureen,
Not a whole lot knitting wise... but I finally finished spinning all of my Corriedale... and I think it looks pretty good... a bit inconsistant in places, but that is what homespun is all about... I've been getting to go to the Wool Gathering tomorrow... getting laundry out of the way... house cleaning done... I'm working hard on a baby blanket and a fiber art project that I will post about on Monday or Tuesday... the fiber art project is a "new Knitting project"... I'll explain about it in my blog when I finish my portion of it.

Well, I've got to go take a shower and get ready for tomorrow..--S

Maureen,
I have really tried to check blogs, discussions, and always try to answer ASAP when you send me a message... where are you posting? Maybe its some place (there are a LOT of them on KP), that I do not view, because it is must too much. I don't use Ravelry too much, I've always gotten more help here. Sorry if this is not working... I really want to help.

I'm going to "A Wool Gathering" tomorrow in Yellow Springs, OH, so I'll be gone all day long. What kinds of problems are you having... maybe I can help. Susan

Hi Maureen-
Thanks for your compliments about the UGH sweater. :)
No, it is knit from the bottom up- all in the round. sleeves, too, cast-on and added on to the body at the bottom of the yoke and knit up from there to the neckline. Worked pretty good!! Thanks again... -Peggy

Hi Maureen,

I'm glad you recieved your order! Unfortunatly, we had a small issue with the color cards at the warehouse but we are going to be sending out replacements very soon.

I find the Swish Worsted is as soft at the dk - it is very lovely. Wool of the Andes is not as soft, though still a good yarn for garmets - I personally find it better for items not worn directly on the skin, while swish is soft enough to wear next to skin & and for children's knits.

I hope this helps!

Maureen: Shaman is very shy. She wouldn't hurt you...unless you're a squirrel. Yes, the colors are lovely, aren't they? I can only take credit for choosing the entire colorway, not for combining the colors, though. Someone had our taste in colors! --Peggy

Hi Maureen.
Sure, I would be glad to help you out. Just send me what the suggested yarn is and the amount need for a project and we will see what we can come up with.
Take care

Hi, Maureen, Saw your blog from Aug.26th. Sounds like you're starting off like me. First taking a peek around and then getting all involved and enthousiastic. I hope and think you will like it here. I've joined some time last year and never really looked back. Great folks on here, even though I can't get to KP stuff at an affordable price (at the moment) here in the UK. But I wouldn't miss the people here for the world!
Happy knitting. And I'm happy to be your friend, if you like :)

Hi Maureen!

sorry for the mixup on the words! :) I have sent the pattern again - you may want to check your spam filters on your account because that may be where the pattern is ending up.

Hope this works out!

Maureen,
My recommendations: Join a KAL (Knit Along),if there is one that interests you... there is a Gift Knitting KAL, a Lace Knitting KAL, an Entrelac KAL... all kinds of KALs, and the people talk back and forth about what they are knitting, and give each other advice and assistance.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
