This is my true story, nothing altered. These are facts, as they relate

to my experience, my opinions are based on what I've read and felt. I am

Hello knitters,

I came up with this great Idea for all those scrap pieces of yarn that you have stashed up somewhere. I have tons of scraps of yarn, and nothing to do with them. Some are relatively short, and some are long, and some in between. I grabbed all the scraps that I have, from finger weights, to bulky, all…

It was a KP sock blank I dyed for the contest. You can see how I dyed it with Koolaid on my page in my blog. I was so excited about how the yarn turned out, I'm planning to do two more: one with warm colors (orange, red, etc., and one with neutrals).

See the resulting project:

Even if I don't win the contest, I feel as if I've already won!

LaTanya, sorry it took me so long to get back to you on your friend request. We were traveling today. So the first part of the day was packing and the second traveling. I'm in our hotel room now so I have time to check my email! I have to say that I really like your beaded tank top. Very nice.

It looks like you are fairly new to the group so let me say welcome. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful.

Thanks! I love making socks it is definitely my favorite. Right now I am working on a mother daughter pair of mukluks for my friend that is due to have her baby girl in September. I don't usually knit in the summer, as I usually reserve warmer months for reading during leisure time, but sometimes you just can't resist the call of your stix!
Thanks for the friend add :)

Thanks! This is sort of a mutual admiration society... we watch what all the other knitters do, get ideas, put them out there, learn new things and just have as much knitting fun as humanly possible. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. ♥s

Wow that is amazing! I am sure it was a far journey for you guys! Do you enjoy being there? I don't have a penpal but have always wanted one! Do you have a ravelry ID?
You can find me there! http://www.ravelry.com/people/SereneWinter I check that much more often during the day & we can message there & exchange address'! I'd love to see more of your projects too if you have them on Ravelry. If not, I'm sure you would soon, I just love that site! Tons of free patterns too.
