I'm glad the link worked... sometimes mine do, and sometimes they do not. The job I retired from in December has me pretty computer literate, but each web site works a little differently, so past experience is not always enough. So I am continually learning... about computers and about everything else... including knitting. I am glad that Peggy and I have been good ambassadors to new people on the Knitting Community. Yes, it would be glad to all sit down for a S & B over coffee. We are so glad to have you here! Susan
I just found it for you... I hope you can get to it here.
If that doesn't work... you can go back through the blogs... it was about 3 weeks ago. I really hope this helps.
I am curious about tatting too, I was looking at it last night online on other people pages here on knitpicks. I have no idea where to start with it?
I also am hooked on knitting too, and have been a crocheting person since I was very young in elementary school. I had a wonderful teacher who taught her students to cook, crochet & knit. I took to crocheting first due to her beautiful blankets she would create in class.
Just resently I relearned to knit & purl from a gal I met in High School, Loretta. We met up again when she called and invited me to meet at a LYS in Oakdale, CA. We had so much fun, who would have known that in just a few hours I would be knitting and turn into such an addict! :^)
So here, now... I find myself on Knitpicks.com wanting knitting friends so I may learn and share with a community of others who enjoy the same things. I really thought my "stash of yarn was a sickness" but after reading that is is quite common... I feel like I fit right in!
I am glad to meet you and hope we can keep in touch and share storys and ideas along the way.
Thank you for adding me in your knitting circle too.
Your friend,
Kaye~
I am just stopping in to say Hello and see if you would be interested in a new knitting friend? I have been a hobbiest and crocheter since I was 7 years old. Just a few months ago a friend of mine taught me to knit and purl. I am hooked!
Since then I have made two scarves in a basketweave pattern and currently working on a simple Curtain Call Shrug pattern I located on the Lion brand site. I want to learn all I can now that I have started knitting. Someday want to learn to cable too.
Drop me a note if you are interested in a new knitting friend. Have a great day...
Kaye from California
