- Love sports, love to knit. I am an IT professional, a Girl Scout and the mother of 2 daughters. My oldest, a recent college grad, learned to knit last summer and now, living on her own, is using this new-found skill to develop her social circle.
I have an insane addiction to socks (and a SABLE to match) as I am often on the go and carrying my needles with me. Knitting is my sanity in an insane world.

A knitting fool
Is it just me, or is everyone who knits obsessed with the craft? I would rather knit that do just about anything. I've been knitting, on again, off again, since I was 12 but lately that's all I want to do. I can't just watch TV without my needles. I've gone so far as to take my bag into social gatherings and knit while in a volunteer meeting.
