kittyknits, (I almost typed knittyknits myself!) I do have a ravelry page also. Same screen name as here, cherylbwaters. I am not really very active in Ravelry but as you can see I am more than active here.
I do understand health issues. I don't currently have any myself, but my MIL lives with us and we are constantly at the doctor, ER, etc. I always try to have a small bag of knitting ready to grab to take with me.
The weather here has been miserable. The highs have been in the mid 90s to 100+ (with heat indexes between low 100s and 110). But the bad part is that we are about 8" behind in our rainfall. The Oregon/Washington border is one of the places we think about moving to, but with his mom here those plans are on hold.
We're glad you've joined our knitting group. I think we've become a fairly tight-knit group (pun intended! teehee) but we always love to have new comers.

About Me:
I have just started knitting again after many years of doing sewing and quilting. I used circular needles for the first time to make hats and love them. Will be making socks after the holidays.
