It was called the Cider House Rules Pullover and in IWK Fall, 2000, by Linda Daniels. Charleze wore it in the drive-in scene. I don't see a picture of it on the website since the issue is sold out. It's a ribknit with 3 upside-down wishbone cable panel across front & back; then ribknit with a single cable panel and mock turtleneck (not enough to turn down). Easy pattern.
Thanks for the compliment on my crocheted rainbow baby blanket. Believe it or not, that is my very first and only crochet project. I made it in the early 1990s for my daughter (but she grew too old to use it by the time I finished.) I love it, though, and have kept it for a future use. My mother, who had taught me to knit when I was a child, decided that she needed to pass on the crocheting legacy to me, too, since my grandmother had only crocheted and had taught her to crochet. So this was my learning project. My mother had purchased the pattern and thought it would be perfect for me to learn with. I love that it uses several colors. It really was fun to make, and I hope I can still remember how to crochet when I get inspired to make my second project, which will probably be an afghan either for use here, or for my daughter to take to college with her. That is also part of the needlework heritage in my family, as my mother made (knitted) an afghan for me when I went away to college.

Married. Six kids. Homeschooling youngest, we're in 3rd grade. Returned to work recently (only 4 hrs/4 nights) following neck surgery. Will soon be watching 1 yr old grand daughter, while her mother is training for a new job, for 4 weeks. Don't know when I will get any knitting done for a while.
