I've been knitting for about 4 years and socks are my drug of choice right now, although I'm kind of hung up on these scarves right now...
I'm a 44 year old, married Mom to two kids we have successfully raised to adult-hood. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician at a small animal/exotics practice and I have been working my dream job for almost 10 years now.
I love to read and get quite nervous if there is less than at least 200 books around me. I was an avid quilter until my collection took over and I didn't have any room left to actually sew. I'm finally moved into my new house and I have a CRAFT ROOM!!!!! I'm in the long, drawn-out process of arranging everything. Just got the Bernina back from it's tune-up and I have lots of quilts that "only need binding"...and it begins.

It's all coming together!!!
So...we found THE house in Portland and it should be closing around April 10th. Our lease is up in Pullman mid-May, so we'll move Joe to Portland then and our daughter and I will "squat" temporarily at a friend's empty house until she graduates, June 6th. She's taking off right after graduation for a "walkabout", and I'm heading home to Portland.

Again I'm neglecting things...
So much has happened lately. Joe and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary in Portland. We spent 3 days down there, wandering about and we met with a realtor who showed us a taste of what's available.
I'm getting really excited. I think I spent more time in Knit Purl downtown than I did in Powells', which is unheard of for me.
