No, I haven't read the knitting mysteries, although I've heard of them and would love to -- but between work and knitting, the time I used to spend reading seems to have vanished! Especially since I started selling my scarves -- right now I have orders for three scarves and a poncho that aren't even started yet ... luckily, everyone's being patient. So what are you knitting now?
That's great advice, I'll try to keep it in mind :) Please let me know if you enjoy making the Julia Shawl, that Sunkissed Shimmer is such a nice color!
I placed an order for the Imagination hand painted sock yarn, in Looking Glass. I figured I'd try a fingering weight yarn first and I just love the names of those yarns!!
Any time's a good time for knitting; I hope it works for you as it does for me when Im stressed out -- in just a row or two I can feel my pulse & blood pressure go down, and I'm lots calmer. Hope you're safe -- funny; I just noticed the comment from back in April; someone was reading the Blossom Street series -- right now A Good Yarn is competing with my sticks for my attention!Take care --
Hi! Thanks for saying hi, I'm new to the KP knitting community. So, you enjoy lace knitting? Have you ever used the Shimmer yarn before? That's the one I was looking at, but all the colors are so pretty it's going to be hard to choose just one!
Hi, Yes I do read her books, and I love them! I also read knitting mysteries, and Debbie Macomber's knitting related books (Blossom Street) Do you like thease also?
Hi,
Like Me, you know the true meaning of "mans best friend". I have two Malamutes at present, and have known the love of many other breeds.
I began knitting, because of my Samoyed's wealth of fur:) I have also done therapy work. Drop me a line and say hello! Doglvngurl

About Me:
I learned to knit in High School and knitted sporadically (the occasional sweater or afghan) until a few years ago, when I finally realized that it's a lot more restful to knit than to needlepoint in the evenings - and you don't need wallspace for the finished project. Now I'm a knitting fanatic! I have a daughter, son-in-law & new grandbaby, so for the past year I've begun knitting baby stuff - lots of baby stuff.
I have 3 dogs - 2 semi-retired Service Dogs & my current Service Dog, Sara, who's my avatar. (Doesn't she look happy Lure Coursing?) They are also Therapy Dogs & primarily work with abused & neglected children. Besides the baby items, I love to knit lace, socks, shawls, gifts, sweaters... OK, I just love to knit.
