I HAVENT POSTED IN SO LONG. SO FAR I HAVE ONLY FINISHED MY STRIPED THROW AND GAVE IT TO MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS AND HER FIRST PLACE. I HAVE BEEN WORKING SO MUCH THAT I HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO UNWIND WITH MY KNITTING. I WILL BE BROWSING AND PLAN TO START ANOTHER PROJECT SOON.
I AM SO THRILLED TO BE A PART OF A COMMUNITY THAT ENJOY THIS ART AS MUCH AS I DO. I HAVE ENJOYED READING THE BLOGS LEARNING HOW OTHERS ARE ENJOYING THEIR ART. I'M GLAD TO BE HERE!

Your family looks very happy! Ours are all grown! they range from 40 to 27. Our oldest grandson is 13 and our youngest granddaughter just past 9 months.
The only "nice" crochet project i finished is a bedspread that i originally started for our youngest daughter. After it was finally done she gave it back to me! LOL...
I'll try to put up some pix of it later, when I get ny PC back. I hate to work on my laptop. I also promised myself I'll start a "blog" and put on the patterns some of our fellow knitters have asked for. Still have to decipher my scribbled notes.

ps knitting IS a good stress reliever.
Hi Jackie,
Thanks for the compliment on my knitting. Seriously those are rather easy items to make. My grandma always said: knitting consist of 3 "things"2 stitches, knit and purl and an even tension.
We used to go camping in our RV near Tampa, at Fort De Soto Penelles Park....Lovely....nearly each site has their own little beach.
What are their ages? We have 6, 3 boys and 3 girls, all grown up and 6 grandkids: 3 girls and 3 boys!!!!
That blanket was cool to make but the edging gave both my mom and I fits to put on. I am glad it looks good though as it was a gift to a good friend on the birth of her baby. Thank you for the compliment.
