Location: New Jersey

About Me:: My husband and I have been married for 43 happy years and live in the "country". We have 6 amazing children, 3 daughters and, 3 sons. All of them have wonderful life-partners with great in-laws!
These great couples gave us (so far) 8 grandchildren, 4 lovely girls and 4 handsome boys.
We have lots of "get-togethers" often, spontaneous!
Besides having fun with the kids and grandkids, we enjoy to travel across the USA in our motor home

I learned to knit (as well as crochet and embroidery) at my grandmother's knee in Europe, way back so long I cannot even remember when i started. As most knitters i have a rather large "stash", but alas, cannot resist all those beautiful colors and textures....

Had some major delays in posting. After our share of winter colds, flu's, stomach virus etc. everyone is healthy again!

Last week John and I traveled to Ohio for John's oldest brother Ed's funeral. He died after a

I am back to try this again! So much has happened over the last months. We added 2 more grand children to our clan:

Erin Juliet, May 20th to Rob & Krissy, our oldest son and his lovely wife, David 3 and Abigail 2.

Matthew Christopher, June 22nd to Dominique & Herbert, our oldest daughter and son in law, Cody 13.(sorry! time flies by) 14, Xander 13 and Kathrine 20 mnts

I have saved the instructions so now it just working out the binding off part but it may come to me when i actually do it

Most is clear only thing is how do you do your cast off when i do socks i have the stitches on 2 Dps then use the 3rd & knit a stitch from each of the 2 Dps together then slip over the next stitch so how do you do it with the stitches on 3 DPs

While the socks i do for DH are hard he very much a one colour person i do have some different solid colours i have used & i grabbed a bargain a while ago as i got some 100 grm balls of Regia yarn 10 in denim & 10 in a bottle green so have enough yarn to keep him happy for a while & it stops him saying about the rest of the sock stash lol
